Prophecy, says St Paul, is the spiritual gift that is most to be sought. Consequently, when someone feels that he or she has ben given a word from the Spirit, we take care to record it, and to publish summaries of the words that have been given to us.

Sovereignty of God, Transformation and Mission
God is calling us again to recognise Him as the one true Sovereign and to give Him first place above every other authority, distraction and limitation and to act in humility and truth. This call is deeply personal. God asks us to return to praise and worship as our highest calling, to trust Him even when His call is not obvious, and to believe that He is shaping souls in the unseen places where surrender, purification, and grace take root.
To seek transformation in our lives through the Holy Spirit. Jesus calls us to grow in holiness, to tend the flame of God within us and to become bearers of His light every day. Prayer, praise, worship, surrender, and abandonment to God are needed for His work to be brought to bear in and through each person. The Word emphasises that God is not looking for capability but availability. When His people offer themselves humbly, He increases their capacity, transforms their minds into Christ’s and equips them to become instruments of His Holy Spirit.
The Word also urges a renewed commitment to time with the Lord. God challenges the excuse “I don’t have time”, reminding us that our time is held in His hands. Like the first disciples, we are invited to leave our responsibilities in His care and follow Him with trust. He calls us to humility, forgiveness, love and acknowledge that we are a privileged to live in His presence. He also calls us to purity of heart, modelled on Mary and the peace of Christ.
We are called, once again, to personal holiness and to mission of the Church. God warns us not to be deceived by talk that Christianity belongs to the past and instead reminds us that Christ remains the same yesterday, today and tomorrow and that Christianity is maturing in a new way leading us into transformation, refreshment, healing, and truth, when many will come to know God more deeply. We are being called to stand ready, spread the Word in the truth with love and carry His message to those who are burdened, lost, or longing for healing and peace.
The Word calls us all to arise, shine, and step forward into ministries not yet fully known. God promises to lay the foundation beneath the feet of those who take the first step in faith. Endurance, the Eucharist, discernment, and openness to new ministries are presented as essential for the work ahead. Together, these themes form a call to faithful worship, surrender, mission, and the confidence to trust that God will provide the direction, grace, and unity needed for each of us to fulfill our destined work on earth.
